CEIBA Intercontinental (C2, Malabo) is set to take delivery of its second B777-200(LR) with the aircraft having recently commenced flight testing at Everett. Unlike its sistership 3C-LLS (msn 40668) which was subsequently transferred to White's registry as CS-TQX, 3C-MAB (msn 60116) is likely to remain on the Equatoguinean registry.

CEIBA chose to switch its B777 and one of its B737-800s to the Portuguese registry as a means of circumventing European Union sanctions which embargo Equatoguinean aircraft from serving the bloc.

At present, the B777 is used on the airline's only long haul service - a 3x weekly service to Madrid Barajas.
