ECAIR - Equatorial Congo Airlines (EQR, Brazzaville) will début its maiden wide-body operations in February next year Airline Route has reported. The aircraft, a wet-leased PrivatAir (Switzerland) B767-300 WIN. HB-JJF (msn 27613), will operate five out of six weekly rotations between Brazzaville and Paris CDG with the other frequency plied by its B757-200. The B767 is configured with three First Class, 30 Business, and 164 Economy Class seats.

The resulting increase in capacity to Paris will allow for an increase in flights to Dubai International which, with effect from February 3, 2015, will become a daily operation.

The Congolese carrier will also add a maiden B787-8 to its fleet during the last quarter of 2015 with plans to open up new flights to Guangzhou as well as to the United States.
