LC Perú (LCB, Lima International) will add a fleet of unspecified Boeing (BOE, Washington National) aircraft to its fleet during the course of 2015 Peru's El Comercio newspaper has said.

According to the report, the aircraft will allow the carrier to better compete with Peruvian Airlines, Trans American Airlines, and LAN Perú on Peru's larger trunk domestic routes from Lima International to Trujillo Carlos Martinez de Pinillos, Arequipa, and Chiclayo.

At present, LC Perú operates a fleet of six Dash 8-200s on domestic flights between Andahuaylas, Huaraz, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Huánuco, Jauja, Tingo Maria, and Lima. The carrier is also looking to add a maiden pair of Dash 8-400s at some in the near future.
