Air Transat (TS, Montréal Trudeau) is to lease six B737 NextGens from various European airlines for the upcoming winter season which traditionally sees high demand for flights to Mexico and the Caribbean.

The Canadian leisure carrier has dry-leased a pair of B737-700s from France's Europe Airpost (Paris CDG) covering the period November 21, 2014 to April 31, 2015. Thus far, F-GTZE (msn 29080) has been ferried to Montréal Trudeau where it is undergoing re-registration with Canadian authorities.

Other equipment will include a pair of B737-800s sourced from Transavia France (TO, Paris Orly) as part of a 2013 seasonal capacity agreement, and another pair of the same type sourced from Travel Service Airlines (Prague Václav Havel).
