easyJet (London Luton) has been given the go-ahead to commence direct Paris CDG to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion flights by the French civil aviation authority (Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile - DGAC).

The route, which the UK-based budget carrier applied for earlier this year but was passed over for Transavia France (TO, Paris Orly), will operate 3x weekly beginning March 31, 2015.

Currently, easyJet connects the Israeli commercial hub with Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH, Berlin Schönefeld, Geneva, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester International, Milan Malpensa, and Rome Fiumicino.
