MODERN Logistics (WD, São Paulo Viracopos) is set to take delivery of its first aircraft, a converted B737-400 formerly in service with Russia's Orenair (Orenburg), once it has undergone conversion into a freighter at San José Juan Santamaría.

On completion, B737-400(F) PP-YBA (msn 24683) will be ferried to South America where it will be used to develop a freight network connecting all of Brazil's major hubs. In the first five years of operation, the start-up estimates its fleet will grow to 40 freighters operating flights to 15 logistics hubs throughout the country.
