Skylar Airways (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) is a privately-backed Thai carrier aiming to start operations during the second quarter of this year. Using a pair of A320-200s, Skylar plans to operate international charter flights from China and India to Thailand before expanding into the scheduled services sector later next year.
Once operational, Skylar chief executive Darika Sarunyagate said other jets will be added with the E190 and the A319-100 currently under consideration.
