Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order book numbers for the month of December show the manufacturer registered sales of 468 aircraft with several existing clients choosing to modify existing orders.

As it stands, Aeroflot ordered fourteen A320ceo and eight A321ceo while Lion Air ordered three A330-300s.

In terms of conversions, LAN Airlines and TAM Linhas Aéreas parent, LATAM Airlines Group, converted four A320ceo and nine A321ceo into neo equivalents, AirAsia converted four A320ceo into neo, Vueling Airlines converted five A320ceo into their A321ceo equivalent, and Yemenia converted four A320ceo and ten A350-800s into A320neo and A350-900s respectively.

As of December 31, the Airbus order backlog stood at 6,386 aircraft: 3,621 A320neo and 1,508 A320ceo; 193 A330ceo and 120 A330neo; 779 A350 XWBs; and 165 A380-800s.
