Evelop Airlines (Palma de Mallorca) is looking to begin weekly Lisbon to Cancún flights this summer airline representatives told a press conference at the recently ended International Tourism Fair in Madrid (FITUR). According to the carrier, no exact date or frequency of flights has yet been announced as talks between airline management and the relevant authorities are still ongoing.

Owned by the Barceló Viajes travel group, Evelop specializes in leisure flights throughout Spain as well as to Mexico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic, using two A320-200s and an A330-300. One of the A320s and the A330-300 are wet-leased from Orbest (Portugal) (Lisbon). Evelop plans to add a second A330 to its fleet later this year.
