Compass Airlines (United States of America) (Minneapolis St. Paul International) took delivery of the first of twenty E175s it will operate for American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) under the American Eagle brand on Wednesday, February 11. The twinjets are be configured with twelve First Class, twenty Main Cabin Extra and forty-four Main Cabin seats, for a total of seventy-six seats.

N200NN (cn 17000456) is the first of sixty overall aircraft American has on order from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf), with the other forty destined for its subsidiary, Envoy Air (MQ, Dallas/Fort Worth). As part of the 2013 agreement with the Brazilians, American holds options for up to 90 additional aircraft.
