Libyan Airlines (LN, Tripoli Mitiga) and all other Libyan carriers have been banned from Egyptian and Moroccan airspace as of earlier this week. Both countries cite Libya's deteriorating security situation as the reason for the ban.

"The decision is due to the nonconformity of flights from Libyan airports to security standards laid by international civil aviation bodies," a joint communique by Morocco's Transport and Interior ministries said.

The Egyptian Air Force (EGY, Cairo International) attacked unspecified parts of Libya this week in retaliation for an Islamic State-backed massacre of twenty-one Egyptian Christians.
