WOW air (Reykjavik Keflavik) will take delivery of two leased A321-200 (sl) aircraft in mid-March. The two aircraft, VQ-BTT (c/n 6210) and VQ-BMI (c/n 6232), were originally built for UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk) and have already also both been painted in the Russian carrier's full livery. Both aircraft have however not been taken up by UTair.

The twin-jets will now be re-registered as TF-MOM and TF-DAD. WOW air plans to use them on its new US routes from Reykjavik Keflavik to Boston and Baltimore International, launching on March 27 and May 8 respectively. WOW Air will offer connections from its European network to its two first US destinations. The A321s will likely also be deployed on some of its European routes with a weekly service to Tenerife Sur already scheduled with the new aircraft type for WOW.

WOW Air currently operates a single A320-200 itself and wet-leases two additional A320-200s from Air Via (Sofia).
