PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) has reportedly leased two ATR 72-500 aircraft from ABRIC Leasing. The two aircraft, cn 994 and cn 1029, are currently registered as UR-UTH and UR-UTJ and were formerly in service with UTair-Ukraine (Kyiv Boryspil). The ch-aviation aircraft database shows both turboprops are currently undergoing pre-delivery maintenance checks at Toulouse Francazal.
PIA already operates six ATR42-500s on domestic services throughout Pakistan and regionally to Kabul, Muscat, and Sharjah.
