flybe. (2002) (Exeter) has announced it will base two E195s out of Cardiff during this coming summer season. The first 118-seater aircraft is scheduled to arrive in June and the second in September as the carrier plans to expand its existing Cardiff services from Belfast City, Düsseldorf, Geneva, and Jersey to include Cork, Dublin International, Edinburgh, Faro, Glasgow International, Munich, Milan Malpensa, and Paris CDG.

"We are delighted to launch these exciting new routes from Cardiff Airport," Saad Hammad, CEO, Flybe said. "As part of Project Blackbird, we have been looking to find a productive home for our surplus E195 aircraft and we are delighted at this 10 year agreement with Cardiff Airport which involves us basing two of these jets there to serve the Welsh market with great value fares and further improving UK regional connectivity. We continue to seek solutions for the remaining seven EMB-195 Project Blackbird aircraft."
