Adria Airways (Ljubljana) parent, the Slovenian government, has selected international financial auditing house, KPMG, to act as a financial advisor for the airline's upcoming privatization process.

A 91.58% stake is to be put up for sale later this year after state firms the Slovenian Sovereign Holding (Slovenski Državni Holding - SDH), the Bank Asset Management Company (Družba za Upravljanje Terjatev Bank - DUTB), and the PDP restructuring firm (Posebna Družba za Podjetniško) all agreed to dispose of their respective 69.87%, 19.63% and 2.08% stakes in the national carrier.

Adria is one of fifteen companies the Slovenian parliament slated for privatization in mid-2013.
