ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) is looking to establish a new hub in Southeast Asia for its international cargo business to take advantage of growing demand for Japanese products in the region, the newly appointed president of ANA Holdings Inc, Shinya Katanozaka said in a recent interview with Kyodo News.

According to Katanozaka, the development of the airline's cargo business is seen as crucial to ANA's longterm plans.

With a fleet of ten B767-300Fs, ANA Cargo maintains a logistics hub at Okinawa Naha Airport which links Japan with core cities throughout Asia including to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Hong Kong International, Osaka Kansai, Qingdao Jiaodong, Seoul Incheon, Shanghai Pudong, Singapore Changi, Taipei Taoyuan, and Tokyo Haneda. It also partners Lufthansa Cargo (LH, Frankfurt International) on flights between Europe and Japan.
