Air Croatia (Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) launched operations on Thursday, April 2 with flights from Zagreb Franjo Tuđman to Budapest. However, it has suspended services to Budapest until June 2 after just one rotation.

The start-up, which has postponed its launch date and modified its business model several times over the past 15 months, now offers scheduled flights from Zagreb to Milan Malpensa, Prague Václav Havel and Rome Fiumicino. Furthermore, the airline plans to launch flights to Mostar on May 3 and to resume the Budapest route in June.

As the virtual carrier does not yet have its own Air Operators Certificate (AOC), it is chartering a 27-year-old ATR 42-300, OY-CHT (cn 80), from Dutch ACMI specialists, Denim Air ACMI (Amsterdam Schiphol).
