Sideral Air Cargo (Curitiba International) has taken delivery of its maiden ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) equipment research has shown. The aircraft is an ATR42-300, PT-MFE (cn 295), that was formerly in service with TRIP Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Viracopos).
Until now, the Brazilian cargo carrier had been an all-Boeing (BOE, Washington National) operation with a fleet of two B737-400(F)s, one B737-300(F), and one B737-400 (currently undergoing conversion into a freighter at Dothan). The ch-aviation aircraft database shows a further two B737-400(F)s are scheduled to arrive: N530TP (msn 26530) from Colt Cargo (São Paulo Congonhas) and 9M-GSA (msn 24559) from Gading Sari Aviation Services (Kuala Lumpur International).
