Volaris (Y4, México City International) took delivery of its first of its maiden A321-200 (sl) on Wednesday, April 22 following a ferry flight routed Hamburg Finkenwerder-Reykjavik Keflavik-Bangor-México City International.
XA-VLH (cn 6558) is part of a pair of A321-200s the Mexican LCC is leasing from the Air Lease Corporation (ALC) with XA-VLJ (cn 6601) expected to arrive later this quarter.
Volaris currently operates an all-Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) fleet of eighteen A319-100s and thirty-three A320-200s on budget flights throughout Mexico as well as to the neighbouring United States.
