Aurigny Air Services (GR, Guernsey) took delivery of its first own Do228 at a ceremony held in Guernsey on Thursday, April 30 Skyliner Aviation has reported. G-SAYE (cn 8046), which was formerly in service with German operator FLM Aviation (Kiel) as D-ILFM, will be used on flights to nearby Alderney.

The Guernsey-based carrier wet-leased CS-TGG (cn 8160) from Portugal's Aero Vip (Cascais) last year to test run the aircraft ahead of a possible order.

Aurigny says it will use the Fairchild Dornier twinprops to replace its outgoing fleet of Britten-Norman Trislanders.
