SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City) has transitioned to an all-jet operation with its last E120-operated commercial flight on Tuesday, May 5. Research shows the type's last revenue flights, all under the United Express banner, were from Los Angeles International to Fresno Yosemite, Palm Springs International, San Diego International, and Santa Maria, CA and from San Francisco to Bakersfield Meadows and Fresno Yosemite.

Announcing the move last year, Skywest blamed, in part, increased costs associated with new FAR117 flight and duty-time rules which require first officers to be in possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

As of May 5, the Utah-based carrier had a total of thirty-eight Brasilias on its books alongside seven CRJ100s, 159 CRJ200s, ninety-eight CRJ700s, thirty-six CRJ900s and thirty E170s.
