GX Airlines (GX, Nanning) is planning to make its international debut later this year with flights to two as-yet-unknown Asian capital cities. The Tianjin Airlines (GS, Tianjin) subsidiary, which only launched operations in February, says it plans too tap into Nanning’s growing trade and tourist traffic with Southeast Asia. As such, it is currently studying Bangkok, Vientiane, Hanoi Noi Bai International, Singapore Changi, and Phnom Penh as potential candidates.

Using a fleet of five E190s dry-leased from Tianjin Airlines, the start-up currently serves eighteen destinations located throughout China.
