Saudia (SV, Jeddah International) recently deployed its maiden B777-F into revenue service. Having arrived in-country direct from the United States on April 2, the Saudi Arabian national carrier says HZ-AK71 (msn 60337) was first deployed on cargo flights to Mumbai International, Milan Malpensa and various points around the Middle East on May 7.
The new B777F is scheduled to operate twice weekly on the route from Mumbai to Jeddah International and beyond.
Saudia will take delivery of three more of the type from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) before the end of the year.
