Royal Flight (RL, Moscow Sheremetyevo) took delivery of its maiden B737-800 on Thursday, May 28 Skyliner aviation has reported. VQ-BRF (msn 34970), formerly D-ABBY with Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel), was deployed into commercial service on May 30 on flights to Rhodes, Greece.
A subsidiary of Abakan-Avia (Abakan), Royal Flight operates charter flights for Coral Travel Tour from Moscow and other Russian cities to Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Spain, Thailand, India, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates. Until now, the carrier's fleet had consisted of five B757-200s exclusively.
