SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City) took delivery of its first new E175 to be operated for Alaska Airlines at a ceremony held at Embraer's São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf plant in Brazil on June 1. The jet, N170SY (cn 170900483), will operate in partnership with Alaska Airlines (AS, Seattle Tacoma International) under the Alaska SkyWest banner.
N170SY is scheduled to make its commercial debut on July 1 with daily return flights from Seattle Tacoma International to Milwaukee General Mitchell and Oklahoma City Will Rogers World as well as from Portland International to St. Louis Lambert International.
An additional two jets are slated to arrive this summer while the remaining four will be delivered during the first quarter of 2016.
