BoraJet Airlines (Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen) is set to add a maiden pair of E195s to its existing fleet of eight E190s ch-aviation research has revealed.

The aircraft, cn 19000069 and 19000084, were originally in service with flybe. (2002) (Exeter) and were destined for VIM Airlines (Moscow Domodedovo) following the British carrier's decision to phase out the type last year. However, while they were painted in the Russian carrier's livery, they were never delivered.

A subsequent move by Saratov Airlines (Saratov Tsentralny) to snap up the Embraer (EMB, Sao Jose dos Campos) Regional Jets also failed to materialize. The two aircraft have been in storage in Alverca ever since.

Of its eight EMB-190s, Borajet currently operates three on behalf of Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) subsidiary, AnadoluJet (Ankara Esenboga), with the rest plying scheduled flights to Lebanon, Northern Cyprus, and France as well as to various destinations throughout Turkey.
