Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) will commence flights to Divinópolis from July 6 onwards marking the eastern Brazilian town's maiden scheduled services. ch-aviation analysis of schedule date shows Azul will operate a 5x weekly service to São Paulo Viracopos using an ATR72.
Though a new passenger terminal was opened in 2012, Divinopolis airfield has catered mostly to the general aviation community.
