United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) has signed a firm order agreement with Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) for the purchase of ten E175 jets destined for its United Express fleet. The ten firm orders, due to begin arriving next year, have an estimated value of USD 444 million based on current list prices.

The Brazilian manufacturer says it expects United, or one of the carriers that operates as United Express such as Mesa Airlines (YV, Phoenix Sky Harbor), Shuttle America (Fort Wayne International), or SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City), to convert options for eighteen aircraft to firm orders in the near term.
