Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) has officially terminated its Wilmington, DE services roughly two months after its last commercial flight operated there. An airline spokesman told local newspaper Delaware Online that flights to the Delawarean town were no longer commercially viable but that should the market outlook there change, they may be resumed. The move now leaves Wilmington void of any scheduled flights.

Launched in July 2013, Frontier had offered flights from Wilmington to Chicago Midway, Denver International, Houston Intercontinental, Orlando International, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, Detroit Metropolitan, and Tampa International.
