Interjet (AIJ, Toluca) is planning to raise up to MXN5 billion (USD317 million) through the placement of securities-denominated investment certificates (Certificados Bursátiles Fiduciarios Inmobiliarios - CBFI) on the Mexican Stock Exchange.

According to the proposed placement, proceeds will be used to finance general corporate purposes and working capital, vendor development programs and general expenses associated with the issuance.

The airline said that pending authorization from the National Banking and Securities Commission, the nominal value of each note will be MXN100 and will run for five years. The LCC aims to raise between MXN500-750 million (USD31-47million) during the first run.
