Flyways Linhas Aéreas (Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont) took formal delivery of its maiden aircraft, PR-TKN (cn 580), on July 13 following a ferry flight from Manaus International to Rio de Janeiro International via Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International Skyliner Aviation has reported.
Having secured its Air Services Licence (ASL) from Brazil's civil aviation authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil - ANAC) last month, the start-up has now begun certification following which it plans to use the ex-Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) ATR72-500 to operate scheduled flights from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo Guarulhos, Belo Horizonte Pampulha, Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International, and Juiz de Fora Francisco de Assis in the state of Minas Gerais.
