The International Airlines Group (IAG) says it is to firm up options for an additional twenty A320neo twinjets. The aircraft will be sourced from the Group's 2013 order with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for 220 A320neo which included 100 options.

According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, the IAG's A320-200 fleet consists of sixty-eight A320-200s at British Airways (BA, London Heathrow), twelve A320-200s at Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas), and ninety-six at Vueling Airlines (VY, Barcelona El Prat).

Last week, the IAG announced it would firm up options for up to five A330-200s and eight A350-900s as it pushes to renew and expand Iberia's longhaul fleet.
