Fly Baghdad (IF, Baghdad) has taken delivery of its maiden aircraft, an ex-Vision Airlines (United States of America) (Las Vegas Harry Reid) B737-400 now registered as YI-BAJ (msn 24271) in Iraq. According to Skyliner Aviation, the twinjet was ferried from Bucharest Baneasa to Erbil on August 5. CRJ200 YI-BAH (cn 7984) is expected to be delivered as well at some point in the coming weeks.

The privately-owned carrier has outlined plans to serve Basrah, Najaf, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah from its Baghdad hub in its initial phase with regional services to roll out thereafter.
