Air France (AF, Paris CDG) has outlined the routes it plans to transfer to its HOP! (France) (A5, Paris CDG) subsidiary with effect from the beginning of the Winter 2015/16 season. The move is part of Air France's strategy to win back domestic market share lost to the likes of high-speed rail and Low Cost Carriers.

Airline Route reports that effective October 25, HOP! will assume the following Air France flights out of Marseilles: Bordeaux Mérignac, Lille Lesquin, Nantes, and Rennes. From Nice: Lille, Lyon St. Exupéry, Nantes, and Strasbourg Enzheim. From Toulouse Blagnac: Lyon and Strasbourg. The national carrier will maintain a presence in each of the affected markets via codesharing.

HOP! is also slated to take over the operation of all of Air France's domestic and regional services from its Paris Orly hub including its La Navette flights to Bordeaux, Marseilles, Nice, and Toulouse Blagnac.
