Poznan Lawica airport in Poland has closed to traffic as a result of refurbishment works being done to its main runway. The closure, which came into effect on September 21, will run until October 11, 2015 following which 10/28 will resume active operations.
Located in the west of the country, Poznan airport is served by the following scheduled operators: CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague Václav Havel), Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf), germanwings (4U, Cologne/Bonn), LOT Polish Airlines (LO, Warsaw Chopin), Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International), Ryanair (FR, Dublin International), SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup), Travel Service Polska (Warsaw Chopin), and Wizz Air (W6, Budapest).
