EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) has signed long term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for four B787-9s and two B787-10s. These aircraft are from ALC’s Boeing (BOE, Washington National) order book with deliveries scheduled for mid-2018 through to early 2020.
The aircraft will bring to ten the number of new Boeing widebody aircraft that EVA Air will lease from ALC. The other aircraft include four B777-300(ER)s already contracted.
Late last month, the Taiwanese carrier finalized its own order with Boeing for up to twenty-four B787-10s and two B777-300(ER)s.
