Texas Air Shuttle (Houston Conroe North Regional) has partnered Dallas McKinney National Airport in launching the airfield's first scheduled passenger operations later this spring. McKinney National Airport is a general aviation reliever airport located 50km north of Dallas and offers convenient access to surrounding cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Under the deal, the subscription-based carrier will operate daily shuttle flights to Houston Conroe North Regional using its fleet of Beech (twin turboprop) KingAir 200s.

“We are thrilled to offer this service at McKinney National Airport and believe this will provide the perfect alternative to stressful commutes and long wait times typically facing regular business travelers getting from the metroplex to Houston,” said Ken Wiegand, Executive Director of McKinney National Airport. “We understand the importance of time for frequent business fliers, and we pride ourselves on offering first class services to those who fly in and out of our airport, and this partnership with Texas Air Shuttle brings one more top notch experience to business travel in McKinney.”

Texas Air Shuttle will initially offer service to Houston but has plans to expand flights from McKinney National Airport to other Texan cities including Austin-Bergstrom International, San Antonio Lackland, Harlingen and Midland Airpark, as well as Oklahoma City Wiley Post and Rogers, Arkansas in the future.
