Citywing (Isle of Man) will begin Cardiff-Anglesey flights with effect from Monday, January 25. The route was temporarily suspended on Friday, January 22 after then operator Links Air (Humberside) suddenly withdrew its services.

“Links Air, the provider of the intra-Wales service, withdrew its service without notice, however the Welsh Government has secured an alternative carrier to enable the service to continue without any interruption," a Welsh government spokesman said. “The flights will continue on Monday January 25 on the normal schedule with Citywing."

Citywing's twice-daily return flights will be operated by North Flying (NFA, Aalborg) using a Metroliner, which has previously also operated on behalf of Links Air on the route.

Anglesey is an island off the north-west coast of Wales.
