Air Serbia (JU, Belgrade) will lease a CRJ900 from Slovenia's Adria Airways (Ljubljana) between June and September of this year. The aircraft - S5-AAV (cn 15284) - will be used on existing flights to Sofia as well as upcoming services to Hamburg Helmut Schmidt and Kyiv Boryspil.

“The Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft offers excellent performance and passenger comfort levels, and is a great match for our planned network expansion to two popular European cities this summer holiday season," Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said.

For its part, Air Serbia operates eight A319-100s, two A320-200s, six ATR72-200/500s, and four B737-300s (with its Aviolet (Belgrade) leisure division). A Jet Airways (JAI, Mumbai International) A330-200 (cn 885), will be dry-leased from Jet Airways for upcoming transatlantic flights to New York JFK which launch later this June.
