Regent Airways (Dhaka) has taken delivery of its first B737-800 following the arrival of S2-AIH (msn 28639) in Dhaka on Thursday, March 24. The former Shenzhen Airlines (ZH, Shenzhen) machine joins two other B737-700s in the Bangladeshi carrier's fleet as well as two Dash 8-300s.

Regent Airways will use the aircraft, leased from a US firm, on its upcoming Dhaka-Muscat, Oman route set to launch next month. Other destinations served include Chittagong and Cox's Bazar locally and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Kuala Lumpur International, Kolkata, and Singapore Changi regionally.
