Ural Airlines (U6, Ekaterinburg) is set to resume service to Antalya in Turkey after Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) lifted a moratorium on passenger flights to the resort town.

In a statement, the Russian carrier said it would serve Antalya from Rostov Platov, Nizhny Novgorod Strigino and Kazan International with weekly charter flights.

Russia's government banned Ural Airlines from Antalya following Turkey's shooting down of a Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-24 for reportedly violating Turkish airspace near the border with Syria in November last year.
