Puebla, the capital and largest city of the state of Puebla in southern Mexico, has reopened to traffic following a brief closure late last week.

The airfield was closed twice: first by falling ash from the Popocatepetl volcano and then due to adverse weather conditions.

At present, five known scheduled operators serve the town including: Aeromar Airlines (México City International); Aeroméxico (AM, México City International); American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth); Copa Airlines (CM, Panamá City Tocumen International); and United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare).
