Vistara (UK, Delhi International) is considering setting up a base at Bangalore International to compliment that at Delhi International India's Business Standard has reported.

Airline sources told the paper that a lack of overnight stands at Mumbai International and a desire to grow its business outside India's core markets, such as Delhi and Mumbai, had contributed to the decision.

As such, talks with airport authorities in the southern Indian city are currently ongoing and, if successful, could see up to four A320-200 (sl)s being based there.

Vistara operates nine A320-200s on flights to sixteen destinations across India.
