J-Air (Nagoya Komaki) has officially unveiled its first, and Japan's first, E190 at a ceremony held at Osaka Itami on Monday, May 10. JA241J (cn 19000708) has since been deployed into revenue service for the JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) subsidiary servicing Kagoshima and before long, Fukuoka and Sendai.

J-Air has a total of ten EMB-190s on order from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) of which a second and third are due in August and October with the remaining seven to arrive during 2017 and 2018. The airline also operates seventeen E170s and nine CRJ200s on regular passenger flights across Japan.
