Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) is set to expand its wide- and narrow-body fleets with the upcoming addition of more B787 and B737 MAX aircraft.

Norwegian said in a communique that it has signed an agreement with CIT Aerospace for the longterm lease of two new B787-9s to be delivered in spring 2018. With this new agreement, the company’s long-haul fleet will consist of forty-two Dreamliners by 2020.

The LCC has also exercised eight of its 100 B737 MAX 8 purchase options bringing to 108 of the type it now has on firm order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National). As the MAX's European launch customer, Norwegian expects its maiden aircraft of the type next year.
