Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa) has announced that, owing to unspecified operational reasons, it will wet-lease an A340-300 from Portuguese ACMI!/charter specialist, Hi Fly (5K, Beja), with effect from July 7 to August 16.
The quadjet will be used on the Finnish carrier's 3x weekly Helsinki Vantaa-Miami International service exclusively.
At present, the route is operated primarily with A330-300 equipment.
