SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) says it has now formally exited regional carrier Widerøe's shareholding following the sale of its remaining 20% stake to WF Holding AS (WF Holding).

Owned by Torghatten ASA, Fjord1 AS and Nordland Fylkeskommune, WF Holding acquired an 80% stake in Widerøe (WF, Bodø) from SAS in September 2013. As such, the sale of the remaining stake was completed on June 30. Its value was not disclosed.

Despite its divestment, Widerøe will continue to be a regional partner to SAS. At present, the Norwegian operator's fleet consists of nineteen Dash 8-100s, three Dash 8-200s, seven Dash 8-300s, and eleven Dash 8-400s.
