FlyAwesome (MDW, Johannesburg Lanseria) has partnered Johannesburg-based aeromedical specialists, Air Evacuation Services, to launch a new medevac service, Awesome Air Evac (Johannesburg Lanseria).
Using FlyAwesome's long-range capable jets, Awesome Air Evac will offer fixed-wing air ambulance services covering the whole of Africa and its surrounding islands, as well as Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to this announcement, Air Evacuation Services had partnered Medair Charter (MDX, Johannesburg Lanseria) wherein the latter provided it with medically-equipped Learjet 55s.
