Rectrix Aviation (Bedford, MA) is set to begin regular passenger flights between Hyannis and Nantucket after it secured a commuter air service operator permit from the Department of Transportation (DOT).

In its application, Rectrix said it planned to operate the route using a pair of leased Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350i aircraft.

Rectrix has operated as an ad-hoc charter provider since 2010. Its current fleet, available for said services, includes five Learjet 45 and two Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft. It also manages aircraft for individuals and companies who operate those aircraft under Part 91 regulations.
