Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) has announced it will shift three routes from Fort Myers Southwest Florida to the nearby Punta Gorda, FL later this autumn.
The affected routes include: Trenton, NJ; Chicago O'Hare; and Philadelphia International. The shift will occur from October 30 onwards. Ultra low-cost carrier Allegiant Air (G4, Las Vegas Harry Reid) is currently the only other carrier serving Punta Gorda, offering 29 destinations from the Floridian airport.
